So after a late night arrival and a quick trip to the Castro (gay ground zero) for a bite, drink and a groap or two we headed back to our hotel for some much needed rest.
After a morning latte and a brand muffin, to get things moving, its off to union square for some shopping. Westfield mall was so fancy, you didn't even have to though your own trash away, and they did it for you!
During lunch we met up with a new friend Adam for some shopping. After shopping we decided to head to fisherman’s wharf. There are two ways to get to the wharf from where we were. One you can walk around the embarcadero, long walk but on level ground. Or you go more direct, up the very high very steep hill. I was quite proud of myself as I was able to keep up with the duo.
Once at the wharf we indulged in some chowder in a sour dough bread bowl, we did after all work up quite an apatite after that grueling walk. After a walk around the wharf and a stop in the Hard Rock for a t-shirt it was off to Ghirardelli’s for some free chocolate.
Then its back to the hotel room for some rest before hitting the Castro for some clubbing again! Love this city!!
